Graduated from Calvin College and Univ. of Mich. Med School, spent 2 years in the Navy during Viet Nam, and have been practicing General Surgery since then in Grand Rapids. The last 4 years I've been doing just venous surgery. We adopted a 6 year old boy from Guatemala (Luis) 6 years ago, so having a 6th grader in the house yet helps explain why I'm still working. |

I'm sure others remember when cousin Joann DeKryger brought a black snake to school for "show and tell" for biology class, not realizing that it was pregnant. The snake delivered sometime over the weekend, and come Monday there dozens of little critters all over school. |
