 Reunion to Celebrate 50 Years!

Fremont High School Class of 1959 Reunion!

You are invited to join your classmates on our new website as we work toward our 50^th class reunion scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2009, to be held at the Fremont All Saints Church.

It's easy to sign up (maybe your grandkids will help) so join in.

• Turn on your computer, open your browser and enter the web address : http://www.fremontmi59.com

• Click on Classmate Profiles, find your name and click on it. Fill in the boxes and click on SAVE CHANGES. And now you can take advantage of all the site features, including adding pictures of you and family. (We recommend that you check the box Profile Visibility so that only other registered FHS classmates can see your information .)

• We will need your address, phone number and e-mail address to keep you up-to-date regarding reunion events as they unfold. If you have no e-mail address, you can open one at no cost with Yahoo or Hot Mail. (Your grandkids can help here also.) Your e-mail address will not appear on your Profile page, however, you can send an e-mail to a classmate who has registered through their Profile and they will see your e-mail address and they can respond. YOU CAN RETURN TO YOUR PROFILE AT ANY TIME AND CHANGE YOUR ENTRIES. This is not written in cement and will be available for the next 3 years.

• A school tour has been scheduled, by which you may well rekindle many happy (or unhappy) memories. Check regularly! We are looking for suggestions regarding additional events which you might like to see or do to make this reunion special, perhaps a golf outing, perhaps a cocktail gathering – but that is what the “Contact Us” tab is for – so, use it! So far, we have arranged a Friday night mixer at One East  Main and a Sunday breakfast also at One East Main –  The management has agreed to accomodate our classmates, but be patient since we have no special reservations.

• Schedule of events : PLEASE NOTE SET TIMES AND CHANGES.

1. School tour  – 3:00 P. M. Meet at the west entrance on Darling Street.

2. Social Hour – 4:00 to 6:30 P. M. Refreshments will be B.Y.O.B. with soda and ice provided. NOTE Change - A cash bar has been added for those who don't want to bring their own.

3. Dinner – 6:30 to 8:00 P. M.

4. Music and Memories – 8:00 until the 12^th of Never

• Dining will be informal – it will be a buffet-style featuring:

1. Southern-Style Pig and/or Chicken Bar-B-Que

2. Green Beans Almondine

3. New Potatoes

4. Herb Vegetable Medley

5. Hot Rolls and Butter

6. Dessert - Homemade Apple Cobbler

• The cost for the reunion dinner is $35 per person/$70 per couple. We need to know as soon as possible whether you will attend. You may sign-up in one of two ways: you can use a credit card via the website or you can fill in the mailer (below) and send it in with a check.
